WAHOO--Stacy is returning to Africa!

It's official, i'm heading back to Africa again soon! This time, the village of Kibaale [chi-bal-ee], Uganda is calling. I leave on March 6, 2008, for 9-10 months, to work with Kibaale Community Centre, a project of Pacific Academy Outreach Society (PAOS). As Director of Health Services for Kibaale Community Clinic, I will provide leadership to establish a new clinic facility and build local capacity to meet the health needs of the community.
Africa--a continent rich in spirit and complexity--continues to fascinate and challenge me, and i know i will learn a great deal from the Ugandan people as i come alongside their inspiring efforts to improve their situation. My first challenge: fundraising. Stay tuned for details about how you can become involved in a project that will impact many lives.
